How the Killer Learned to Love Again(part 14)

I turned around slowly and starred a the thing behind me, a tall pale man stood there.
he was easily 7 or 8 feet tall with long arms that hung by his knees, and he wore a black suit, with a blood red tie, but that wasnt the worst part. i could handle jeffs scarred face, but this was worse, this man HAD no face. just and empty head.
~'hello isiss.'~ his voice was low, dark and seemed to echo slightly. how did he know my name? and then, just like it always did when i was in trouble, my spunk kicked in.
"what happend to your face?" i asked. i wanted to slap myself in the face right there, but the tall man just laughed.
~'at least jeffery found someone with some bravery.'
my blood froze. how did he know jeff? or me?
"w-who are you? and how do you know J-jeff?" i couldnt help the waver in my voice when i spoke jeffs name.
~' you seem as if you are about to cry. i take it that jeff DID do as i asked. SlenderMan is my name.'~
"what did you make jeff do?!" i hated being in the dark. this slender-thing obviously knew more than me. and i hated him for it.
~' did you really think that jeff would let you go willingly? if you do than you are mistaken.'~
i froze. what did this guy do? how had he made jeff...NO. slender couldnt have, he didn't even know me...but somehow he knew jeff.
"what are you talking about?!"
slenderman pulled something from behind his back....my spiral. the sketching spiral that had been taken from my room, the one my father gave me
i ran forward without thinking. "give me that!"i screamed. right before i could get my hands on it, SlenderMan disappeared.
i looked around wildly for where he couldve gone. i didnt care about how he had just done that, all i cared about was getting answers and my sketchbook.
slender reappeared a few feet behind me.
~' this, was what i needed to get it all going'~
((sorry i didn't know how to make him say the whole plan without making it sound corny. oh well.))
~" I was here before jeff even knew you. i was there that night that he ALMOST killed you. at first i was curious as to why he stopped, then i realized that he felt differently about you, and i knew you could be quite helpful. i knew that jeff wouldn't act on his emotions, so i had to give him a little push.'~ i was haveing trouble processing this all but it sorta made sense, in a weird way.
~' i stole this,'~ slenderMan turned the spiral in his hands~' to send jeff a message. i let him know that he wasn't alone, and that if he didn't protect you...i was going to come.'~
he began to look threw my sketching and i could only watch in rage. ~' my, my, you've been busy.'~ he held up one of my better drawings of jeff, and i had to try really hard not to charge at him again. no one ever looks at my drawings. NO ONE.
but i knew that if i ran at him again, he would probably do the same to me that he did to jeff.
~'I just waited while you and jeff became close. and then i attacked. i beat jeff in a fight and told him that i would kill you if he didn't 'break up' with you.'~ he shook his head as if he couldn't understand what 'breaking up' was. ~' and so he did.'~
the rage turned to fury, and i realized that this was ALL Slendermans fault. everything.
Slender just stood there with my spiral and continued to look through it, not caring if i was infuriated.
i forced out, threw gritted teeth "w-why would you go through all that trouble?!"
~' because i want to make jeff suffer! and now you've wandered away from your home...and into my territory.'~ he began to creep forward, slowly, like a lion closing in on cornered prey.~' and now, what better way is there to hurt jeff...than to kill his only love?'~
i was still hot with fury, but now i was slightly scared, though i didnt show it. this tall MoFo was going to kill me to get to jeff.
before i could say anything more, 6 black, arm-like tentacles grew from SlenderMan back. my slight fear was renewed with terror, as two of the tentacles lunged at me.
i Screamed out in fear as the black arms slithered around my wrist and began pulling my toward the monster.


then they let go.

slender shrieked as if he had been burned, and his whole body flinched back.
i notice that i felt...warm. not burning, just...warm. i realized that the source of the heat was coming from around my neck. i glanced down at the purple stone and gasped.
it was GLOWING. the necklace was emitting a purple light that coverd most of my body....what was up with this thing?
slenderman growled and lashed out again.
i flinched back but i didnt need to. as soon as slender touched me, he screeched and jerked back again.
~' SHADOW STONE! i should've know jeff wouldn't leave you without protection!'~ slender hissed in fury.
i reached up and clutched at the stone around my neck.
i didnt know exactly what was going on, all i knew was that this rock was keeping slender from touching me. i held the shadow stone and didnt let it go. i began backing up toward where i had come.
~' come back here human!'~ he roared and lunged forward. i turned around and began to run away from the small clearing, but slenders arms still grabbed my leg and i fell to the ground.
slender screamed, and let go again. no matter how much it hurt him, he wasnt going to let me go that easily. i forced myself back to my feet and tried to run again, slender appeared right in front of me.
his hand reached out and grabbed the necklace. it sizzled against slenders skin like bacon on a frying pan.
though slender roared in pain, he ripped it from my neck and flug it out into the woods.
my only defense....gone.
he turned back to me and i saw his hand, blackened from the necklace, begin to heal. he latched his other hand around my throat, no longer feeling the pain
it constricted around my neck and i began to struggle to breath.
then Slender growled ~'now. you shall die'~
i cried out when the pale hand cut off my air supply completely and i began to suffocate. black spots began to appear in my eyes. after a few seconds, i began to think...'is this how i'll die?'
then the hand was gone.
i collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath. warm hands picked me up from the ground and i could hear a soft voice say,"Isiss, im so sorry."
Jeff.
i couldnt open my eyes as i coughed and gasped. when i did, i looked into jeffs face. i had never seen anything so beautiful. his black hair, black eyes, pale face...it was all there. just like the first night we met. there wasnt a trace on blood or wounds on his face like i had seen him with 3 weeks ago.
"j-jeff..." i groaned.
jeff smiled a bit wider and kissed my forehead,"im sorry isiss...i thought that necklace was strong enough to protect you"
the moment was ruined but slenders furious voice ~'JEFFERY! i thought you had left for good!'~
jeff set me down carefuly and stood up, taking his knife from his pocket. "and i thought you said you wouldn't hurt Isiss if i let her go. looks like we both lied."
~' Foolish boy! you shouldve left when you had the chance!'~
i could see slender standing a couple yards away, all of his tentacles bristling from his back.
jeff crouched in front of me with his blade drawn.
there were a few seconds of silence. then, without warning, slender raced forward. faster than my eyes could follow.
but jeffs eyes could.
jeff ran forward too and slid on his knees when one of slenders tentacles tried to ram him to the side.
jeff turned right before he crashed into slender, and elbowed him in the ribs with massive force.
a crack could be heard from slenders chest and i knew that some ribs had been broken.
slender growled and whipped around faster than shouldve been possible. slender used his momentum and swung a Punch at jeff.
jeff stumbled backwards from the blow, and slender launched the other killer into the air with a attack from his arms.
when jeff came crashing down, he regained his senses and caught himself. he ran back at slnder and sliced at anything he could get at.
slender lashed out at jeffs head and caught him with a hard punch, the hit also cut through his skin and a fresh gash was made in jeffs cheek.
blood fell off of jeff face but he only snarled and fought harder.
slender lashed his tentical at the younger killers feet, as jeff jumped up to avoid it, another slammed him aside from the air.
jeff skidded across the ground and smacked, back first into a tree. he groaned and stumbled to his feet.
"cheep shot!" he growled, raising his knife again.
~' ah, but it worked.'~ slender lunged again and i had trouble keeping up with their movements.
they were just a blur and black and white.
jeff slashed with his knife at any opening in slenders defense, and slenderman lashed out and every bit of jeffs body.
soon they were both covered in black and red blood.
jeff slashed too high, and slender took the chance and snatched jeff up by his ankle.
the 16 year old boy knew what was coming, a smack to the ground. before slender could slam jeff, he reached up and slipped the knife across slenders arm.
jeff began to fall to the ground but caught himself with his hands. the freshly severed limb fell down next to him, and jeff launched himself upward once more. he dug the blade in slenders faceless head, and the monster cried out.
slender sent a massive punch toward jeffs midsection. all of the air left his body from the blow and he was sent flying backwards, right into some nearby boulders.
CRACK!...was the sound...that was made when jeffs head smacked into the boulder. He slid down the rock and i could see blood on the grey stone. jeff tried to keep himself up, but his legs wouldnt support him. he crumpled to the ground, covered in more blood than the first time he fought SlenderMan
i had recoverd from being choked and i got to my feet. i looked over in horror at Jeff.
he was on the ground, and wasnt moving.
i tried to run over to him but slenders arm grabbed me from behind.
"LET ME GO!' i screamed out! i needed to get to him. i needed to get to my jeff.
i turned around and kicked out at Slender, as hard as i could. i used to play soccer so i had strong legs. i caught him right in the gut and he dropped me. i fell to the ground and began to run to my fallen love.
but then...everything went wrong.
it all happened soo fast, i could barely decipher what happened.
...and i will never forget it.
slenderman teleported right in front of me and his tenticals shot out, forward. not to grab...but to kill.
then jeff was infront of me. his eyes flashed with shock and pain and i glanced down to see what had happened.
a black, withering tentical had been forced...right through Jeffs back.
i had a brief flashback and i saw that girl, that jeff had stabbed from behind back at the park. when those three girls that  thought i killed Shashe. when jeff had saved me for the first time.
and then that girls eyes faded, and i could see jeff once more. he looked down, then back up at me.
there was a sickening wet sound as slender pulled his tentacle from jeffs body, and jeff fell to the ground.
i rushed down to him and pressed my hands to his face. "j-jeff" i shook uncontrolably and spoke in horror.
"j-jeff!"
i could see the gapping hole in his stomache and i knew he had only moments to live.
"I-Isi..." jeff couldnt seem to form to words as i watched to blood flow freely from the wound.
i glanced up to see that slender had gone. he had left me to cry over jeff. slender knew he was going to die.
but i didnt want jeff too die.
"Jeff, jeff listen to me! okay? your gong to be okay!' i said the words over and over again. trying to make my wish a reality. the blood pouring from his body mixed with the water on the ground from the now raining sky. leaving jeff in a pool of his own blood.
jeffs hand reached up and pressed against my face. "isiss....i-im sorry..i couldnt p-protect you..."
i shook my head "you did. you did." then a thought struck me. i needed SOME of my questions to be answered. "j-jeff where did you get that necklace?"
jeff smiled weakly "a freind down eastward. she works in witchcraft and dark magic....she..she made me th-that necklace....to protect me from darker...b-beings like slenderman...but there was a problem," he chuckeled but it sounded more like he was chokeing.
"t-the shadow stone..only worked on ..girls. so i kept it..for anyone who might...n-n..need it."
Tears streamed down my face and i couldnt stop them.
"and i thought...what better person to give it too...than y-you."
"j-jeff! please...dont! dont leave me!"
jeffs black eyes began to dull, and i sobbed even harder."b-but Isiss...im already...gone"
"NO JEFF! PLEASE! YOU CANT LEAVE ME!!!" i screamed out desparetly. i couldnt lose him. i had already lost him once, and i just couldnt stand the thought that i would lose him for good.
"isiss....before i g-go...i..want...you to know...i love you...i was just....to afraid..t-to tell..y-........you"
i hugged his dieing body, and i felt my heart begin to burn with sorrow. it felt like someone had ripped open my chest and taken my heart out. i didnt want to lose him. not now.
"jeff i love you too! so please! DONT LEAVE ME!!!"
"...goodbye..."he whisperd
jeffs eyes unfocused and suddenly...he didnt breath.
"NOO! JEFF! DONT GO! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!
my tears didnt even feel like tears because of the rain pouring down at my head.
i hugged his lifeless body and cried. just...cried.
jeff......was gone.
